Policy on the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
Welcome to our website (referred to as the ‘Site’). We value and respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same respect for our rights. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c), copyright owners or their representatives can submit a takedown notice to us through our designated DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA and can claim immunity from infringement claims.
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted material allegedly infringed;
- Details to help locate the infringing material, including the URL;
- Contact information of the complaining party;
- A statement confirming unauthorized use of the material;
- A statement verifying the accuracy of the notification and the authority to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Section 17 USC §512(f) imposes penalties on individuals who knowingly provide false information in copyright infringement notifications under 17 USC §512(c)(3).
Submit takedown notices via the Contact page, preferably through email for faster response.
By submitting a claim, you acknowledge that we may share your identity with the alleged infringer.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If you receive a takedown notice for copyright infringement, you can send a counter notification to have the material restored. The counter notification should include:
- Your signature;
- Description of the removed material and its original location;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the material was removed by mistake;
- Your contact details and consent to legal jurisdiction.
Send the counter notice via the Contact page, preferably by email.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against repeat copyright infringement. We maintain a record of DMCA notices and take action against repeat offenders by terminating their accounts.
Modifications
We retain the right to modify this page and its DMCA policy at any time without notice. We recommend checking back regularly for updates.
